Cove Creek Preservation & Development (CCP&D), a nonprofit organization in western Watauga County, NC, is dedicated to preserving our local heritage. We proudly maintain the historic Cove Creek School building, a beloved landmark that serves as a hub for community events, and local businesses. Each year, we host Doc & Rosa Lee Watson MusicFest, celebrating our region’s musical legacy and bringing people together in the spirit of tradition and joy.
