After much thought and out of concern for our patrons, performers and community, we have decided to once again, reschedule the Doc & Rosa Lee Watson Music Fest 'N Sugar Grove to the weekend of July 15-16, 2022.

As a non profit organization, we rely on a combination of ticket sales and local/regional sponsors to fund our event. With the ongoing Covid crisis and continued shifts in the economy, the viability of holding the festival in 2021 would be challenging. We are hopeful with the continued decrease in Covid cases and the substantial increase in availability of vaccines, that the festival will be able to move forward with little changes to our original format.

We are currently in contact with many of the previously scheduled artists/performers and are hopeful that most of them will be available for those dates in 2022; also, we are planning to add some additional performers! We have been working extremely hard on renovating and adding exciting new memorabilia to the Doc and Merle Watson Folk Art Museum and are very excited with the updates and look forward to sharing all of the hard work that has gone into revitalizing the museum.

We cannot wait to welcome our music family and friends back to Sugar Grove in 2022 for the 20th Anniversary of the Doc & Rosa Lee Watson Music Fest N' Sugar Grove and for the re-Grand Opening of the Doc and Merle Watson Folk Art Museum. Until then, we hope everyone stays healthy and safe and we will see you all next year!!!
